I’ve been playing with some new styles lately, but this is one I consider my signature style- that mix of old + new, that patina’d frame with modern art.
I’m not sure why I’ve always loved this so much, but it’s a feeling of harmony and balance, with the excitement of that fashionable flair. I know I need to keep doing more of these- so stay tuned. There are more coming soon!
These frames are either antique or vintage, found at an estate sale, which seems to be where I find the best gems. I cleaned them up, refreshed the paint, and added the modern abstract art you see here (If you have old frames, please don’t throw them away- I love restoring and repurposing them into something stylish and modern that can be loved by someone else.)
