Welcome to week 26 of the ReFashioned Art LIVE Happy Hour Art Show. [Ahem, excuse the beginning blooper bit…gotta love LOVE video] I never imagined LIVE video would become such a big part of my art work, but it is 2020, and it is perfectly in COVID fashion. Unique times call for unique measures. Thank goodness I love getting on video!

As promised, I showed up with a cocktail dress on, cocktail in hand. This week I wore a vintage favorite from My Sister’s Closet, boots from Goodwill, and accessorized with a few collected, thrifted and vintage finds. This week’s cocktail of choice was an organic Gin martini with fresh from the garden basil, lots of ice, in a chilled glass, of course.
ReFashioned Art was born from my passion for creating beautiful things and doing good for the environment; it is the merging of sustainability + style. WHAT IS REFASHION? ReFashion is a word I wrote in a journal years ago, that was uncovered January 2019 while purging boxes of old journals. I then decided to name my blog ReFashion Report, and later branded my upcycled art ReFashioned Art. ReFashion is my word for the re-imagination of our relationship to fashion (and really all material things). ReFashion is the act of using fashion for good- to make ourselves feel good and to do good for the planet.
